Grandmaster Fosslien is a medical doctor who has trained extensively with Dojunim Ji, Han Jae and Grandmaster Scott Kifer. He also holds 2nd Dan rank in Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo. He is a Professor Emeritus of Pathology, having recently retired from the College of Medicine of the University of Illinois at Chicago
